Rune Tree Hub

The Rune Tree turns Alchemy gold into permanent account power. Slot unlocks and chest automation beat minor stat nodes early.

Spend Order

Third slot costs on the order of 150k gold total along the path - plan Alchemy accordingly. Do not scatter gold into cosmetic edges of the tree first.

This order is about multipliers. Slots multiply every drop. Chest automation multiplies every AFK minute. Tiny resistance nodes multiply almost nothing while those are missing.

If you bought a paid class already, your spend order does not change. DLC heroes still need Command slots to enter the fight.

Rune of Command and Slots

Command nodes are the spine of early TBH. Slot two enables Priest. Slot three enables a real DPS lane beside tank and support. Everything in Builds assumes this backbone.

Players sometimes path sideways for shiny stats and then complain classes are weak. Re-open the tree, count remaining Command costs, and Alchemy with intent until the node is done.

After a slot opens, visit Formation immediately. An unused slot is as bad as a locked one. Assign Priest or your planned DPS the same session you unlock capacity.

Automation Synergy

Auto-open chests only matter if the client is open and Auto-retry is enabled. Pair runes with the AFK farm builds page.

Far North progress is the difference between true background play and a loot piñata you must click forever. Prioritize it after slots, before vanity.

Offline reward nodes are real but secondary. They cushion closed-client time; they do not beat a minimized, online AFK loop. Read Offline vs AFK before investing a fortune into offline-only thinking.

Gold and EXP Nodes

After formation and chests, gold/EXP runes compound the Alchemy loop. They are excellent - just not excellent enough to buy before you can field three heroes.

Think in sequences of nights: one night finishes a Command node, the next improves clear speed through better party power, later nights buy income nodes that make each clear richer.

Cube Alchemy is the fuel. If rune costs feel unreachable, your problem is often stage uptime or melting discipline, not the tree layout itself.

Late Tree Notes

Endgame nodes get expensive quickly. Finish formation and automation before chasing every resistance node. Revisit after each major patch in case costs or positions change.

Awakening's extra skill slot is a star on Priest once basics are done. Buying it while you still click every chest is a mis-sequence.

Late tree planning should include Market income if you list high grades. Wallet value can buy time, but the free path through Alchemy remains viable - do not assume you must P2W the tree.
